Class Supplies

Anyone still in need of any supplies or have not paid for class supplies, the last order will be taken on Nov 15th. Students must wear any style of leotard they wish, as long as they do not wear jeans & sweatshirts into classes. Actually, they should wear some type of stretch jazz pant to dance in.  All students should now be wearing correct leotard/jazz pants & shoes with their hair tied back.

Recital Costume Deposits

Each student will be responsible for their June recital costume deposits of $25 per student on the following dates: October 1, November 1, December 1 and final balance February 1.  These deposits are mandatory for all students. Only students planning on performing in June need to pay for deposits, those who are not participating should have sent me a "written" notice by October 1.

Congratulations to our Senior Dance Team on a job well done at their first competition in Chicago, Illinois! Members attending were Haylie Bowlby, Kenzie Beery, Shelby Jolliff, and Micaela Wenning were not only won the three divisions they competed in, but was also awarded "Most Outstanding" Team! Also, congratulations to Allison Smith who was crowned as well as Grace Etgen--both of whom competed in individual events!

UPDATE:  We will be attending DMA Nationals again this year for those teams that qualify. I will be choosing only a few team members/teams to attend the competition in Hawaii in 2015 (I will not be taking all students). Therefore, please plan ahead for around  the 3rd week of July to be traveling with the team to Nationals

Holiday Benefit Recital

Is set for Saturday, December 21, 2013, at 7:00 pm at Parkway High School Auditorium in Rockford.  Dress Rehearsal will be Saturday, December 21, at Parkway High School in Rockford from 1:30-3:30 pm.  Christmas Pajamas will be worn.  Please do not purchase pajama gowns though since these are hard to perform in.  Pant style pajamas are preferred. Presale tickets will be available for sale on Saturday, December 7th from 11:00 am-1:00 pm. Christmas Recital T-shirts ($20 each) for the finale need to be paid for by November 25 by all students (due date change).

FUNDRAISER

Students need to have all pie fundraising orders turned in no later than Thursday, Nov 7. Our next fundraiser is "Cookies for Santa" Nov 12-Dec 5. Also, all students will be receiving tickets to sell for our next fundraising event around December 1st for our "Annual Raffle" event in December. We will be raffling gifts from area businesses during the Holiday Recital.  More information will be given to you with your ticket packet.  If you own a business or know of someone who does and would like to donate a gift or certificate, please see the front desk.

Holiday Items

Dancewear, totes, baton bags, sweatshirts, etc... will be available for sale at the studio for those interested in purchasing a Holiday Gift for your little dancer. These will be in the studio after Thanksgiving. Also, those who are interested in purchasing gymnastic mats, etc... please note the due date on the pamphlet that was given to your child 3 weeks ago.

Head 2 Toe Dancewear

Check out our new link for all of your class supplies and gifts.  This online store includes dance shoes, baton supplies, gift items, and clothing.

Note: Please keep our studio clean--this includes picking up your trash in the studio as well as the lobby area. Also, children under the age of six need to be chaperoned to the bathroom (flush the toilet and pick up any paper towels that have not been disposed of). Please supervise siblings that are not taking classes at all times when you are in the lobby. Thank you!
